October Club Meeting

LSM held their monthly meeting on the usual day, the second Friday of the month, at our regular location at Hayes Hobby House. Club business was discussed, most of which was focused on the upcoming show and contest on November 8th.

After completing club business, holding our raffle, and a few moments of wonderful music when Mike Starling showcased "MiGs on Broadway" with singing and dancing, most club members adjourned to Baldino's.

Mike Kloppenburg's notes: Our plaque finishing party has been postponed until 26 October. That will be a Sunday and we will meet over at Mike Starlings house to work on this. If you want to come and you do not know where he lives you may contact him. If you have a power sander and a hand drill bring them as it will speed up the process. I hope for maximum participation from our club on this.

If you are in this club and plan on participating in the show next month do not forget the club would like a donation to the raffle.

We also talked about our elections, so put some thought into to who you would like to see run the club or if you think you would like to run yourself. Positions up for election are as follows:

• President
• Vise President
• Treasure
• Secretary

We are also going to be making arrangements for our Christmas party and we will let you know about the time and place on that event, and plan on doing to Yankee Swap Meet as well on the same night.
