The Lafayette Scale Modelers presents their 2008 Club Model Show & Contest on November 8th, 2008. For all the details, themes, categories, registration info and maps, take a look at our Contests page.

Come join the LaFayette Scale Modelers this November 8th 2008. This years contest theme will be "what if", so if you have ever wondered what might have been with a Luft 46 or that paint job that never has been this will be their shining moment. The contest will be held at Kiwanis AKA Honeycut Recreation center at 352 Devers Street Fayetteville, North Carolina. The show will be open from 8:00-5:00. Lafayette Scale Modelers long standing relationship with Fort Bragg, 82nd Airborne Division and the Special Forces will be honored with special awards. Come join us and make it an event to remember!

FEES: Contest registration prices $12 for registration for unlimited models. IPMS members will be provided a $2 discount. The Juniors registration fee is $6 for non IPMS and $5 for IPMS members. • A modified no sweeps will be in effect. • The show info will be posted @ http://lafayettescalemodelers.com/news/ • The rules have been standardized throughout IPMS/USA. Come join us in all the fun. Registration will begin at 9:00 until 11:00 AM. Awards will be given For first, second and third place. Special awards will be given for best Airborne subject, best Phantom subject and we will also have a few more exciting surprise awards. As always Juniors are encouraged to participate in the fun.
